Apple’s iPhone 6S Will be The Company’s Last Event This Year

Apple normally hold two press event in the second half of the year, one in September, which will take place later today and they normally also hold one in October.

The October event is normally reserved for new iPads, although we have been hearing that the new iPads will be announced at today’s event with a new iPad Mini 4 and a new iPad Pro.

According to Daring Fireball’s John Gruber, Apple will not be holding a press event in October, which means that we will see all of Apple’s new devices for the rest of the year at today’s event.

Lot of little birdies out tonight in San Francisco. The consensus is that there’s only going to be one Apple event this fall, and it’s tomorrow. So if there’s an iPad Pro, it’s coming tomorrow, no matter how much or how little sense that makes.

We are expecting to see the new iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and a new Apple TV at today’s event. We are also expecting to hear about the release of iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan.

We will have more details on Apple’s new devices when they are announced at their press event later today, the event starts at 6PM UK time and 10 AM PDT.
